Work, work, work

I just wanted to update a moment on my new, crazy work schedule. It has had it's highs and lows so far and I'm not quite at a point to say either way if it's working for me. There have been nights I could keep running like the Energizer bunny and nights that my eyes are tired and burning by 2 am. However, this is a schedule that for our family is the best option and I'm not about to give up yet. I have noticed however that as the week winds down for everyone else I'm thinking "Man, can it be Friday again already?" and I'm averaging about 5-6 less hours of sleep a week which is a little wearing on my nerves. But my husband has been very helpful in taking on the duties of our home and watching the Little Miss so that I can sleep as much as possible and cope with the new schedule. Switching back over to a daytime person during the week has been easy some weeks, and rough others. I think I just need a bit more time overall to adjust. I am just super thankful that I have such a flexible career and we're able to have this option right now.

Hey there,

I'm sure it's hard, but you know in your heart it's worth it! You'll never regret this.

Love,
Ruth

If I can ever watch her for an hour or two so that you can sleep a bit more, give me a call. I am sure that we'd do just fine for a shorter time period and the girls would love to play together. We still need to do lunch, though some day when you feel up to it! :)

Michelle!!

How are you? How fun that you have a blog too! I'll have to catch up with your life now:).

One quick question, I heard about Annie. What happened? I've been thinking about her ever since I heard. If it's a personal question, I understand, I was just being nosey I guess.
