Her first bridal shower was hosted by Marla, Glenda, and myself. The guests included her friends from high school and their mothers, as well as family. For dessert we had yummy strawberry parfaits and pirouette rolled wafers. The games we played included a match game "How do you know Maria", a create-a-veil game, and "the Matt Clark" trivia game. The afternoon was fun and Maria received some wonderful gifts from everyone.
The second shower of the weekend was hosted at our church back home. The hostesses included Gail, Ruth, Penny, and Marge. The guests were longtime church friends and family. We had yummy cupcakes for dessert and cute "two peas in pod" lemondrop treats made by our very own Martha Stewart. It was a great afternoon and again Maria received some wonderful things in which her and Matt will use to begin their life together.
