Saturday night Jason and I took advantage of one of the great benefits of big city life. We attended The Theatre in the Park as they presented the musical "Beauty and the Beast". It was a great performance! We sat outside in lawn chairs and watched with thousands of other people a romantic musical under the stars. The performers were incredible and there was a live orchestra performing the music which made it even more spectacular.
In the weeks ahead we are hoping to attend the performances "Singin' in the Rain" and "West Side Story". Our plans next time will be to arrive early and have a picnic in the park beforehand. What a great way to spend a Saturday night!
