I'm back, get excited

Sorry for the break, I'm back. It was a much needed one as it seems I retreat into the abyss during the first couple months of pregnancy. My bed was calling my name so I obliged and hibernated away as long as possible. So that's my secret. Little Miss is going to be a big sister and it's now time to move on with my life, unless I feel like poo again tomorrow.

After 6 long weeks without any shopping or cleaning, I could tell that I was starting to get my gumption back when I decided I needed to go to Walmart the other evening. I went for gummy bears, but I came back with much more. Along with the Mike & Ikes, Sweet Tarts, Skittles, Peppermints, and multiple bags of Gummy Bears, I hit an organization jackpot. I just happened to be strolling along, sort of taking my time, and ended up in the school supply aisle. The red clearance stickers on just about every item caught my curiosity and I stepped inside. Basically I am most excited about these great zippable bags that I scored for only 25 cents each. I bought 6 of them, but feel the need to go back for a few more.

You know, being a girl myself, and now that I'm a momma to a little girl, I know these bags are going to come in handy for SO many little parts and pieces. Hair accessories, toy parts, crayons, etc. They will be great to pull out as we get new things and need to give them a home. The best part is that they have a clear plastic strip around the outside so you can just peak in an see what's inside. I'm so excited about these goody bags, I just needed to share!

We also bought a couple of pretty pencil pouches and a vinyl lunch box all for 50 cents or $1 each. You should have seen my Little Miss carry her lunchbox down the street last night with daddy to get the mail. She didn't want to let go of it, so he put the mail inside and she carried back home to me. So precious!

Hi, thanks so much for the comment on my blog! Congrats on #2-- that is so exciting, and I certainly hope you feel better soon. The first part is never really any fun...

And yes, that dessert is indeed the yummiest ever. I know you'll enjoy it when you get around to making it. :)

I love the great deals you can find at this time of the year. Start of school clearance rocks.
