For a rock hard body...

Dare I admit this? I'm not sure if I want to give my secret away or not, but I guess with being forthright I may have a person or two help hold me accountable. I caved to an infomercial. Since we cancelled our cable service a couple of years ago, I have started watching significantly less television, however, the quality of the programs I do watch are less than ideal. For quite a while I was on a "Malcolm in the Middle" kick, and watching reruns of "Bernie Mac" is almost embarrasing to admit. Thankfully after the birth of Little Miss I have cut the few hours of television watching I did a week to almost nil.

This past weekend however I found myself drawn into the world of infomercials. I flipped through the six channels that we get, endlessly, and kept resorting back to the prepaid programming of Beach Body fitness. It drew me in. Possibly it's the time of year and knowing that I'll be unpacking my summer clothes soon, and having to buy a few more pieces for my wardrobe - which I despise, since I almost always increase a size each season. To my point. I bought a DVD fitness program, Turbo Jam.

It was possibly watching the fitness gurus dancing and moving their flat abs all over my screen that did me in. Only 30 minutes a day will give me that body or my money back. Sure. However, it does look fun. The DVD's which are included are of various lengths which should help me fit one or two in to my day during Little Miss's naptime. Plus it came with turbo sculpting gloves and they cut the price down to only three payments instead of the usual four, since I called within that next 17 minute period.

So if you notice I'm blogging less it's because I'm in front of the television "jamming" the pounds away, or I'm passed out on the sofa with a pint of ice cream thinking I'll try again tomorrow.

LOL! I can't believe you did that! But then, what a GREAT infomercial to give in to! I hope you LOVE the dvds. I'm awful awful awful about keeping up with the exercising!

That's awesome!!! I wish I had the pre-baby energy and free time to exercise again! I barely find time to do laundry... :)

Turbo Jam is GREAT! It's a really good work out. I should know, I've done it fifteen, maybe twenty times. LOL!

Seriously, it does work if you do it! Some friends and I used to get together after work for turbo jam sessions and we were all losing weight/toning up.

And then we lost our motivation!

But you'll stick with it, I'm sure! Have fun!

I've seen that infomercial too. It looks like fun but I was worried I'd hurt myself when I got all tangled up (I'm not coordinated at all!) and since I wasn't at the gym there wouldn't be anyone to call for help.

Let us know what you think of it!
